Join us on our 32nd writer’s retreat for a long weekend in the Finger Lakes of New York. We’ll be writing in community at the glorious Inn at Taughannock Falls in Trumansburg, New York. Surrounded by the breathtaking scenery of Taughannock Falls State Park, the Inn overlooks Cayuga Lake. View the majestic beauty of the tallest waterfall east of the Rocky Mountains and explore the Cayuga Lake Wine Trail. Come together daily to write, read aloud, and listen to the power of our voices. WRA emphasizes connection through words, art, nature and beauty. Make time for yourself and your writing life.

All meals included. We’ll be dining inside and outside (weather permitting), enjoying time together with a view of Lake Cayuga. We also will have our private dining room.
SCHEDULE
Daily writing workshops each morning and afternoon with evening programs. Writers need time to explore. Enjoy a serene environment to renew, recharge, and discover more about your writing life.
This retreat is limited to 17 writers. All workshops follow the Amherst Writers and Artists Method. These workshops will be led by Julie Maloney award-winning author, speaker, and founder/director of WOMEN READING ALOUD and Donna Baier Stein award-winning author and founder/publisher of TIFERET Literary Journal. Julie and Donna led a Sold Out Writer’s Retreat in Massachusetts in 2023.

How Far is The Nearest Airport?
Ithaca Tompkins International airport is a 25-minute drive from the hotel. Syracuse Hancock International airport is an 85-minute drive from the hotel.
